He is also the President of Freehold Commercial Realty Limited, a commercial real estate management company based in Halifax. As well, Robert co-founded Sustane Technologies Inc. in 2014. This advanced recycling company converts plastic and biomass into markable commodities at its plant in Chester, NS. Robert has worked in real estate for over 35 years and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University and is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant.

Prior to her appointment to CFO in 2017, Dale was the Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Planning. Before joining the team, she worked as an equity research analyst at Beacon Securities and in various accounting and finance roles at Emera Inc. Dale holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Mount Allison University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and CFA charter holder. She serves as a member of the Board of Regents of Mount Allison University.

Prior to joining Killam, Ruth held the position of Vice President, Property Management with O&Y Enterprise for 14 years. She is also a board member of Rental Housing Canada (formerly CFAA), a national association representing Canada’s rental housing sector.

Erin Cleveland is Senior Vice President, Finance at Killam Apartment REIT, where she leads the organization’s financial reporting, accounting, treasury, internal audit, and taxation functions.

Before joining Killam, Erin worked with Ernst & Young LLP in the Assurance and Advisory practice, where she advised both public and private clients across a range of industries, including real estate, energy, aerospace, and not-for-profit.

With more than 20 years of progressive financial leadership experience, Erin brings strong technical expertise and strategic insight to her role. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).

Prior to working at Killam, Michael held technology consulting positions with a P-3 schools consortium and other local and national real estate firms. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Dalhousie University.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts and MBA from Saint Mary’s University, as well as a post-secondary diploma in Human Resources Management from Nova Scotia Community College. Colleen also sits on the Board of CPHR Canada, as well as CPHR Nova Scotia

She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo and is a Professional Engineer (licensed in Ontario).

Her first role at Killam was Project Manager of Unit Renovations and Design and her career has grown through her passion for the industry. As Vice President of Capital Projects, she is responsible for Killam’s Asset Management Program that would include all Capital Projects including Building Envelope, Mechanical Systems, Curb Appeal, and creation and design of the Unit Repositioning Program.
