Killam's monthly distribution is $0.05667 per unit ($0.68 annually). On August 4, 2021, Killam announced a 2.9% increase to its distribution on an annualized basis, to $0.70 per unit from $0.68 per unit. The monthly distribution will be $0.05833 per unit, up from $0.05667 per unit. The increase will apply to the September 2021 distribution, to be paid in October 2021.
Yes, Killam has a distribution reinvestment plan. The Plan provides eligible unitholders with the opportunity to reinvest their cash distributions, on each distribution payment date, in additional REIT units at the average market price of such units. Participating unitholders also receive a “bonus” distribution of REIT units representing 3% of the amount of the distribution reinvested pursuant to the Plan, based on the volume weighted average market price of Killam units for 10 days preceding the distribution payment date.
